Dark Spirit of Chaos' host is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, who had become possessed by the monster ka, Dark Spirit of Chaos. He attempted to assassinate Pharaoh Atem, during his coronation.
He is based on Dark Spirit of Chaos' host, from the manga. His manga counterpart had attempted to rob a tomb, rather than assassinate the pharaoh.
Biography[edit]
Dark Spirit of Chaos' host snuck into the pharaoh's palace, during Atem's coronation. As he prepared to shoot a dart from a blowgun at Pharaoh Atem, his presence was sensed by Isis via the power of the Millennium Necklace. Isis warned Mahad, who was able to intervene and block the dart with his robe. Celebrations were halted and Seto ordered soldiers to catch the assassin, who was then brought before Atem and his Sacred Guardians.[1]
Since it was a time of celebration, Mahad suggested that they simply send him to the prison, but Seto suggested that they could instead use the opportunity to demonstrate their power to the new pharaoh. Using the Millennium Key, Shada looked into the assassin's heart and saw an evil monster ka. Aknadin then used the Millennium Eye to identify and extract the ka, the Dark Spirit of Chaos. Finally, Seto to use the Millennium Rod to seal the ka within a stone tablet. Seto felt the demonstration may have been dull for the pharaoh and suggested that they tear the man limb for limb, but Aknadin protested that the evil had been removed from the man and that as priests they must show mercy.[1]
When Atem entered his World of Memories, the judging of this criminal was one of the first events that he re-witnessed.[1]
